Star Patient Program is Cancelled due to Program Misuse
SkateDaze strives to be a cornerstone of the community, having donated both time, money and various other resources to a number of charities, schools, and individuals throughout the decades of service to the Omaha Metro Region. A method used to help support the local community was a fun partnership with local doctor offices, dentists and orthodontics, among other health care professionals. This program was designed to give children and families the opportunity to save some money while enjoying Best of Omaha’s Family Entertainment Center.
Unfortunately, this program required the partnership of these healthcare professionals, including the limitation of passes to patients (not to be used as an employee benefit), the approval of the health care organization who provided the pass. Over the past year, SkateDaze has attempted to promote and educate our area partners; it has become apparent our attempt to minimize the workload of our partners to help facilitate this program has proven to be too difficult within the operations of these partner organizations.
As a result of these program difficulties, SkateDaze has decided to cancel this program effective October 1, 2017. As we continue to determine ways in which we can effectively partner with our local community, we will keep our friends in the community informed. We apologize to those customers and partners who worked to make this program a success.
